Power and dignity will fill the hall as we perform three works celebrating the nobility of the human spirit. The music from Verdi’s opera Nabucco became the anthem of Italian independence after its premiere, and we open with the overture from this remarkable piece.

Next, Redlands Symphony's audience favorite, and world-renowned pianist, Anne-Marie McDermott, graces the Memorial Chapel with Prokofiev's mighty Piano Concerto No. 3.

We conclude the evening with one of Tchaikovsky’s most powerful and dramatic works — his Symphony No. 4. From the powerful opening fanfare, this work takes us on a journey that is by turns tragic and triumphant.
