Fresno Philharmonic: Michelle Cann Plays Gershwin

  • Paul Shaghoian Concert Hall 2770 East International Avenue Fresno, CA, 93730 United States (map)

What’s better than hearing Gershwin’s Piano Concerto in F live? Hearing it played by 2025 GRAMMY–winner Michelle Cann right here in Fresno. Join us as we celebrate America at 250 with a lineup of all-American music, with a focus on African American composers including Margaret Bonds’s Montgomery Variations and the world premiere of YOSEMITE by California composer John Wineglass. The concert concludes with Stravinsky's energetic Symphony in Three Movements.

Michelle Cann is represented by Curtis Artist Management at Curtis Institute of Music.

The Fresno Philharmonic is funded in part by the City of Fresno Measure P Expanded Access to Arts and Culture Fund administered by the Fresno Arts Council.
