The Claremont Chorale celebrates light and love by performing two works by John Rutter and Johannes Brahms and giving the world premier of the winner of the 2018 Claremont Chorale Composition Contest.
The Chorale highlights the theme of light as we perform the ethereal REQUIEM by Rutter. This gifted composer who has given us so much exceptional choral material shows his eminent skill and virtuosity once again in the creation of this monumental work, considered his must beautiful and exquisite composition.
The Chorale celebrates love with a performance of Brahms' LIEBESLIEDER WALZER (Love Song Waltzes). Brahms set this lovely collection of folk songs and love poems for four voices and piano four-hands.
